Bruno Mars rehearses for the MMVAs - Sunday June 19th, 4 pm.
So, yesterday was the Summer Solstice and that was lovely. Today, however, is cold and rainy and not-so-summery. So, in honour of warmer weather and the epic Birkenstock-shaped sunburn I got on my feet this past Sunday, here is a little pick-me-up. Bruno had his back up singer start the song, which was pretty funny. Also funny is how totally uninterested Selena Gomes (the girl speaking at the beginning) sounds about introducing him.
As I was heading back home from my epic walk (more sounds from that soon), I luckily stumbled upon the end of the MMVA rehearsals on Queen St. W, and caught Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga! So, to help you out of the hump-day slump (I realize that’s not a thing, but it rhymed so I’m making it a thing) here is Bruno Mars singing a sweet version of Just the Way You Are. Ignore the girls screaming like banshees. My ear-drums will never be the same.
